The Knoxville Craft Mafia is recruiting!

The Knoxville Craft Mafia Membership Information

The Knoxville Craft Mafia was started for several different reasons.

* For small Knoxville Arts and Crafts related businesses to network and help one another succeed.

* To show other Knoxvillians that everything they own doesn't have to be mass produced - Buy Handmade!

* To enable one another to do things business-wise we may not be able to do on our own, like craft fairs, conventions, etc...

* Bring together the arts and crafts community in Knoxville.

Our Current Goals:

* Have crafty get togethers, and public events, such as Stitch 'n Bitches.

* To have merchandise from all members available for sale weekly at a public market. (We're looking at Market Square Farmers Market)

* To one day have our very own Knoxville Craft Mafia sponsored craft related fair in Knoxville!

* To help bring new customers to each of our businesses.

Who we are looking for:

Artists, crafters, designers, writers, photographers, or anyone else with a small related business.

You must have an online site that the national craft mafia can link to and promote. This can be an etsy store, myspace, or your own website.

Each member of the Knoxville Craft Mafia is responsible for paying a $50 membership fee each year, due at sign up. This money goes towards the national craft mafia membership dues.

The national craft mafia uses these dues for things like advertisements in magazines, and will eventually hold a craft mafia convention.

Anything left after all members have paid their yearly dues will go towards flyers, local advertisements, booth fees, etc...

Let me know if you'd like more info Smiley

And, we have a myspace:
