Someone sent me this craft project and I love it.  But I have never worked with foam at all.  I think I have seen it at the local craft store but I'm wondering how you cut it?  Do you have to have a special tool?  Thanks for any advice.

It is one of the easiest things to work with.  Just use regular paper type scissors.  If you have those scissors with the fancy edges, those work great as well.

Don't call it trash...I can make something with it!!!

i have never actually done any thing with this foam. it looks like so much fun! here in Australia we have packets which have HEAPS of different pieces and shapes.. i just never know what to make.

Goodluck - BTW i love the idea about using the fancy shape scissors. make sure you post lots of photos!! Wink

As marypoppins said, you can cut it with regular scissors. It cuts super easy and super clean.
Plus you can hot glue it and it doesn't melt!

I was off to save the world....until I was distracted by something shiny.
