Hello everyone!

It's been a little while since I've posted.  Been busy with work.

Anyhow, I decided to cross-stitch something for my girlfriend.  It's Gir from Invader Zim.  I didn't have any cross-stitch patterns, so I adapted a picture I saw online into a pixel art piece, which essentially became my cross-stitch pattern.

If anyone else wants the pattern, let me know and I'll post it.  I don't have official DMC colors or anything, but I'm pretty sure you can figure it out.  I know you craftsters are clever!

It was done 16ct Aida.

Happy Tuesday, everyone.  I need sleep.  Gotta wake up early for work.

EDIT - 07/31/2007
So, I've come around and uploaded the "pattern" for the Gir piece.  Since I essentially stared at it while it was on my monitor, Photoshop added grid lines for me.  However, I didn't know how to save them onto the file directly so I drew in "blue grid lines" by hand.  They're basically right with very tiny overlap... but I know you guys get the gist of it.  Enjoy!

So sweet! I'm not a huge fan of Invader Zim, but I love Gir Cheesy

What are you going to use it for/on?

Will swap for a DIY handmade paper kit!

I've never done cross stitching before, can you do it freehand on purses, or is that exceptionally difficult?

I suddenly have an urge to have grr on my purse.
