I am currently on a mission to stop bringing home plastic bags from the grocery store, etc.  (Have you seen how many bags they insist on giving you when you only buy like 10 things??)  So I have been experimenting with making fun totes to carry (cause you have to look good while carrying your own grocery bag!)  These are pre-bought bags customized with felt applique and embroidery.  I bought these first two bags because I'm not an awesome seamstress yet, but now I see how easy they are and I will be making the bags myself from now on!  Anyway, here are the pictures!

Thanks for looking everyone!

I love the octopus. He looks all confused and such - Maybe he's wondering where his legs went..
You did a really great job. They're both really cute.

Thanks for all the great replies everyone!  (Feels all warm and fuzzy)  I can't wait to make more critter bags!  And yes, the octopus is a little self-conscious about not having all his legs!
