I learned to knit by making things for my dog. This scarf was my knitting project ever.

Then I made her an Albert Pujols' jersey

Both these patterns were from "posh pooches" a very fun and easy book to use. A little untidily knit, but she just chews on them till I take it off her anyway.  Smiley

Her name is Bindi (after Bindi Irwin) and she's a fiest. It's a terrier mix. We have a blond male too named Root. And trust me, two terriers in one house is all anyone needs.

fiest is it any particular terriers or is it just a fiesty little dog, I have two half schnauzers and they can be quite naughty to the big dog, when she wears her bandana, they try to pull it off

Feist is the name of the breed and it describes them accurately

Feist is supposed to be a Kentucky mountain dog bred for hunting squirrels. I don't know how they mixed them. They're great dogs though. I love them both. Here's a picture of our little boy Root.

He's a fat sausage.

he's so cute, never heard of the bred though, but lately the powers that be have been crossing some strange things, chi-weiny, labradoodle, pugle, sounds like I need speech or something. He looks bigger than the one in the sweater, does he let you put stuff on him?

She's one year and 20 pounds and he's 6 months and 21.5 pounds. I heard once there's some beagle in the mix. He's much more mild mannered and usually keeps his clothes on.
