what a great cardigan! it looks so similar to luna's from the movie... you did a really good job. and i'm glad my bit of asterisk charting could help out a tiny bit ^_^

i am so impressed with how your cardigan has turned out! the photos have got me extra inspired to get mine done!
i am about 2/3 done the yoke of the sweater. so far your pattern is great and really easy to follow! yay!

that is sooooo awesome. i remember seeing the movie and sat there wondering how i could crochet that cardigan. i am so in love with it. thank you so much for the pattern. it looks great on you.

I like this!  I wish I was better at crocheting and could make it.

In reference to the color, I remember from the movie seeing her wear this in two different scenes (possibly in more as well, but I remember two distinctly).  One was with Harry in the forest, and that scene was tinted a blue hue, much like if you used a "tungsten" or similar setting on a digital camera.  That is why her sweater looks blue-ish purple.  The second time was when they were leaving Hogwarts at the end of the year, and it looks purple.  During the movie, I just thought she had two different sweaters, but when I was looking at some pictures later I realized they were one in the same, and that the color balance of the first scene had been shaded blue. Smiley
