Hi, guys!

Okay, so I've heard of all three of these before and seen the lovely work done with them. But what in the heck are they exactly? How can I get started playing around with them? If anyone has a bit of a beginner's tutorial or some explanations I'd be very grateful. The work done on these programs just look absolutely lovely. Do you have to pay for the software to make those images? Or can it be downloaded for free? Any tips on how to get started?

I'm sure one of my knowledgeable fellow Craftsters knows! Smiley

What is Oekaki?
Oekaki is a Japanese word meaning "scribble" or "doodle". This name is given to a series of Java applets which allow drawing and posting of images online. There are many sites on the Internet, including OekakiCentral.com, which host the Oekaki applets, and provide display space for the posted pictures.

You can find oekaki boards:
and if you type 'oekaki' in google.com you'll probably find lots more!

And here are some great tutorials: http://www.ninja-monkey.com/tutorials/

Hope this helps!
