I also find that when I try to do things for orders, the fun just goes out the window. I would rather do things on my terms. Sometimes people get rather weird with what they want and it isn't always what they pictured in their minds, then everyone is disappointed. I would imagine the young lady will be pleased with her gift.

Thanks for all your nice comments!!   Cheesy  Keep in mind I do personal swaps every now and then when I have time!!!  Wink

....Because I hand stitched the lining opening closed, It is also reversible.

great job and a really sweet gift to give for your child. Can you please tell me how you stitched the lining closed without making the thread visible?

I do a stitch called a ladder stitch.  Here is a quick how to:

Queenofdiy,
You rock!

Having said that, I'd like to ask a question about your invisible lining.  I've seen the ladder stitch and I have used it - it really is almost invisible.  But, I have trouble with the knots at the beginning and end.  Do you have any advice and/or pointers on what to do with the knots to make them invisible too?

Many thanks,
Betty
