I had a pair of old jeans I thought were pretty blah.  I managed to not stitch the pockets closed, which was much more of a challenge than I originally expected.   The winged heart and the outline of the skull I got from a stencil website someone posted on here a while ago.  (Possibly the Stencilry?)  The skull decoration was inspired from various sugar skull images.

I plan on adding more embroidery to this pair of jeans in the future as soon as I have the time and inspiration.

I absolutely adore the sugar skull... skulls are so big right now, and a lot of them don't turn out as well as yours did... it's so funky! (i really like its eyes...oh, and the flower on its forehead)
nice job!!!
