Oh Gizmonic, I'm so sorry! I meant to tell you the other day that the Garter Stitch Lace uses up a lot of cotton and that you might not have enough.  Undecided Sorry!!

Hey, no probs Kbauer! Smiley  I knew I had a smidgen of yarn left over from Feather & Fan and wanted to squeeze just.one.more.cloth out of the leftovers.  Trying to be frugal and thrifty I s'pose  Tongue Smiley

But not to fear:  the mini 1/2 cloth will have a new life as a soap mitt!  I'm going to sew it up as a little satchel, make a drawstring and put bits of soap slivers in it.  Necessity is the Mother of Invention, eh?!  Wink Smiley Cool

I need to make a soap sliver saver (say that 5 times fast!) too! I just can't stand to throw away anything. Pack rat, I guess. Tongue

I was at Michael's tonight, and I saw Lion Brand's new "Nature's Choice Organic Cotton." It was $6.99 for a 103 yd skein, but it is SO SOFT. Seriously, I have never felt a cotton yarn that soft. It's kind of pulled and airy, if that makes any sense. It feels more like one of those yarns that are blended with stuff to make them super soft. Okay, I will stop rambling now, I just thought I would share with you all.

Okay, so here is my finished garterlac. My computer was running extremely slow the last time I posted it, and today, it wants to cooperate. It's a little blurry, but I couldn't get a good picture without the flash, and I wanted to get as much detail as I could. So here we go.

And yes, I do realize that I have a single crochet border obsession. Cheesy

librarylass: Awesome cloths! I love the orange one and what yarn did you use for the blues on your garterlac? I can't get over how gorgeous and shiny the colors are! Oh, and I agree with you abou tthe garterlac being fun. It definitely kept me on my toes. Cheesy

Oh, and Gizmonic, I'm sure if you took a couple of skeins and hid in a corner, you would get in at least 3 or 4 minutes before the Michael's employees found you. Wink
