Nice fulling there gsdbooks.  I like  Smiley

OK, as promised - pics of some of the quotes that feature on the back of the project tote I was sent from thewench...

pretty cool eh?  Cheesy

Well, I have now had time to give my new copy of fitted knits a good going over.  What do you all think of this...
...the split-neckline cap sleeved tee... knit (mainly) from this purty handspun (top) and coordinating yarn...

I got the handspun from the talented RecycleMicol in a previous swap and it is burning a hole in my stash (just like the pattern book I got in this swap will  Grin )

Finally I'm posting the pictures of the AWESOME goodie bag package I received from minanina!! Sorry it took me so long, I had a few biggish events to organise (birthday parties for a 2-year-old and a few days later one for her 40-year-old papa  Grin ).

Here goes:

First a picture of the box when I just opened it.. look at the many balls of gorgeous blue and lilac yarn. It's soo soft, I love it (and though it's sad the wool shop closed, I do appreciate minanina got the yarn at a bargain price  Cheesy):

I simply LOVE the bag minanina has knitted for me. I've already used the purse, it's great.

Two great crochet magazines. Now I will learn how to crochet socks!! And a fancy yarn cutter. That one really cracked me up, I didn't know there was such a thing as pendants doubling as yarn cutters..

Last not least, a look into the purse revealed some cool plastic crochet hooks in rainbow colours and some merino sock yarn from minaninas stash.. I'm wondering if one skein will be enough if you crochet socks instead of knitting them...does anybody know? I don't want to start only to find out I don't have enough for two socks (but I've got a friend who's already offered to knit me socks with that great yarn  Grin )

Thanks again for swapping with me minanina, it was a fun swap and I really really love your package!

Sarantha, I am coveting your Isabeau Tote! I've bought the pattern, but haven't found the time or motiviation to knit it up. I love the green lining with the cranberry yarn. Smiley Oh, and depending on how many ounces of yarn you have...you might be able to get 2 pairs of socks out of the skein. If not, you can always frog it and re-roll it up; at least you'd get crochet practice.  Wink

So many awesome swap packages.  So much yarn!  I am in love with that knitting basket gsdbooks, almost enough to try working with wool and turning into a human-shaped rash.

Miss_Vicki, that is a gorgeous neckline on that sweater, should be beautiful with that handspun.

Still waiting for my package to arrive at its destination.  I could have walked to Scotland and hand delivered it at this rate.  Stupid Canada Post.
