I want to re-read too. Getting old and senile makes it tough to keep up with these things!

I just joined. Now I have to get creative. Doh!

If you re-read the book before the movie, you'll totally hate it. Because yes, it does cut stuff out and change a few things around, but they have to in order to make the movies make sense.
I've forgotten what happens in the book and I loved it =P

Personally I still loved the movie even though I just reread all the books last month.  There was only one big change I can think of, though of course there were tons of things they had to leave out.  I do kind of wish they'd made the movie a little longer so they wouldn't have had to leave out quite so much, but then I always think that about movies. Wink

Anyway, the main reason I wanted to post was that there's a TON of Harry Potter stuff in the dollar bin at my Target, much of which could be useful for crafting, so I thought I should let everybody here know.  I have no idea if other Targets will have the same stuff, but they had loads of neat things at mine.  Pens, notebooks, folders, even water bottles and wallets.  The only bummer was that they had a bunch of house merchandise, but ONLY Gryffindor and Slytherin.  No love for Ravenclaw or Hufflpuff. Sad

I just saw the movie (and I finished rereading the book two nights ago, although that was two weeks or so after starting it). It is FANTASTIC! I loved it so much. I grinned the whole way through with excitement and love. LOVELOVELOVELOVE! It was really great. Even my non-HP-obsessed boyfriend gave it four stars!

Ahhh I just got home from the OotP and it was amazing!! They definitely left out huge chunks of the story line, but I loved it just the same. I did have to explain a couple of things to le husband, but I think he enjoyed it as well. I was disappointed that they didn't show very much of Tonks & Luna. Oh well. I forgot just how much I adored Tonks!! I'm going to reread the book; starting tomorrow. It's just so addicting!!!

I just sent in my info - I wasn't going to participate in this swap but I knew I would regret it if I didn't. How many Aussies have we got now?
