Eh, I'd just use whatever hook the yarn says it requires. I usually get pretty close the the suggested gauge that way.

I'm starting my version of this guy tonight or tomorrow.  (I am making myself finish 2 pairs of socks that I had started a LONG time ago before I start another yarn project).

I'm making it for my big iPod since I run w/ my nano--I know there is no need for 2 iPods, but the big one was a gift from my boyfriend b/c I bought a big one last year, discovered it freezes up when you run with it, and gave it to him..so I guess he was returning the favor?

Anyway, I'll post pix if/when I finish it.  I'm one of those unfinished projects people.. lots of them lying around.
