I'm planning on printing these on transparencies so they look more like actual film strips.  Thanks for the idea of making it look like a filmstrip whomever came up with it lol!

Are you going to back them with a piece of paper? Otherwise your text could be very hard to read. [that last panel is pretty hard to read on the screen, I don't know what size you're planning on making the finished card, but I'm guessing no taller than 11inches.] Honestly, I'd suggest making your premiering line way bigger, because that's the most important information on your card. Just a suggestion if you haven't started printing these yet.

They do look really nice. It would be awesome if you could use a film-noiresque image of you and husband-to-be in the first image instead of a movie image. Or if you have any photoshop skills, it would be fun to photoshop your faces onto that image. [I love doing that! It's so much fun!]

Sorry if you weren't looking for any suggestions, it's hard to shut off the part of my brain that analyzes graphic design goods since I do it all day every day.

Oh that's awesome! The only thing that would make it more awesome is if the people on them were you and your future hubby.

those are really awesome.  ditto to the stuff in the last frame being a bit hard to read, but otherwise they are good stuff.

I know, I've already changed that line. Smiley  We printed them out and "proofed" them.  My mom said the exact same thing about our pictures!! I thought about doing our pictures but we are both overweight and real weight conscious right now and don't like the way we look in pictures at all!! We've both lost about 15 pounds though!  Yay us!!!   I'd like to do an invitation like this and maybe by then we won't be so camera shy!!

That looks fantastic! I would be tickled fuscia to get this in my mailbox!

If you are not looking for suggestions, stop reading, but if you are, I have a couple of teeny ones...

You might want to also put the city where you are getting married as well. People may conclude you are getting married in the bride's hometown/where you live now/where the bride's or groom's parents live/at Graceland if you don't spell this out. If you've already printed them all, pretend I didn't say that.

My other suggestion would be to go ahead and put your pictures on! It's a fantastic idea as is, but it's likely to be even more meaningful if it has pictures of you. Remember, these people love you because you are YOURSELVES, not because your man is Humphrey Bogart. Again, if you've already printed them, ignore that too.
