The flower is a nice choice. It is simple and elegant. I love it. Very beautiful and unique. I also love how you wrapped it in a simple ribbon.

Thank you for your sweet comments, my friend is moving somewhere far and cold and she's depressed about it, so i thought this would be something that would keep her warm and remind her of me.

as for the pattern, well i just made it up! i made a very long and loose chain, then i sc in the round increasing a few stiches at the ends so it will be flat, but i knitted it loosely so it won't curl, the rounded edges did curl just a bit so i just used the steam of an iron to flatten them. as for the flower and leaf i made them up as well. this project took only about 3-4 hours because the yarn and hook are quite thick.

that flower made the whole thing look so much cuter (not that it wasn't cute to begin with)

I loved your simple ribbon "wrapping" so much that I "packaged" all of my handmade gifts this way for Christmas.  Yay!  Thanks for the idea!  BTW...your scarf is adorable!

The blue one is a crocheted chenille scarf and hat set and the green is a crocheted Red Heart Foxy mini-scarf and purse set.
