I finally decided to post projects that I've been working on. These have been completed over the last few months.
1) Irish hiking scarf. This is a present for my mom for Christmas next year (never too early to start). Made with Knitpicks Shine worsted.

2) Anthropologie inspired capelet. Made with some leftover yarn. I think it's brown sheep worsted.

3) Ribbed Scarf made with two strands of caron's simply soft in two colors of purple.
As modeled by my teddy bear.

Fancy shot.

4) Slouch hat. Inspired by le slouch and mary jane's pithy hat.

Pardon the mugshot photo.  Roll Eyes

As modeled by the floor.

Thanks for looking!

WOW! Great FO's! Do you have a pattern for that slouchy hat... it's my favorite of those hats, which I love!

Nice job on all your projects!  I've done all of these projects too!  I am currently working on the capelet (my first actual, bonafide wearable).  Your capelet came out really cute!  And I love the color of the hiking scarf for your mom...she'll love it Cloverdragon!

Thanks for all the replies!

The basic pattern for the hat was cast on 81 sts, knit 5 rows 1x1 ribbing.
The next row is *knit two, kfb* til end
Then the lace pattern is *k1, yo, k2tog* til end
p 1 row
k 1 row
p 1 row
Repeat until desired length (mine was 9.5 inches)
k2tog all stitches
p2tog all stitches
break the yarn and string it through the active stitches on the needle, then sew up the side.
And that's it.
I hope that's clear.

I used size 8 needles with an approximately dk sized yarn. It used about 1 skein of yarn. I think about 150 yarns maybe?
