I need to learn how to starch things.  The tulle part of  my underskirt is not stiff anymore, because it had been through the wash.  It now hangs like just any other piece of fabric, so the poof factor in these pictures is extremely minimal, but better then nothing.  I'm planning on making a bigger underskirt sometime.  (This one wasn't very big to begin with, but pretty good for getting at some church's second hand sale.)

I still haven't gone to get  my belt kit yet.   Roll Eyes

Now, that is a very lovely dress!!!  I don't know what it looked like before the underskirt was washed, but it looks great the way it is!

Oooh, it looks lovely on you!  What a flattering and sexy-in-an-inobvious-way shape.  Very nice indeed.

What if you made a SEPARATE underskirt? Wouldn't that be a lot easier to manage?

The underskirt is seperate, but to avoid an awkward story I'll just say, the underskirt smelled like smoke Tongue and had to be washed.

I know this post is old, but hopefully someone can help me out.
I'm making version A of this dress for my winter formal.
The basic pattern seems very simple but I'm having a bit of trouble with the darts and whatnot.
Uhhh my fabric is so annoying too, as I chose this uberly soft silky stuff.

Ohhhh, it just so happens that time has managed to slip past me, and the dance is this Friday.
Hopefully I'll get it done. Any help would be appreciated SO SO much.
