About a month ago I had my appendix taken out after having Appendic problems for four years which were misdiagnosed time and time again...This is my tiara tribute to my surgery.

I started out with a cheap headband and secured some of those terrible hair combs to hold it on.

I cut out my shape out of a shoe box and paper mache'd the heck out of it.

Spray painted it and added my thermomiter, scary syringe, Vicodin, band-aids, stethoscope, stitches and appendix.

Then I glued in my IV bag which is actually the "Bubble wrap" Zappo's used to pack my new shoes. Recycle power!

The crown jewel

Action shot! There is nothing better in the world than being in your own bed after being in the hospital.

Cheers to everyone's good health...

EDIT: THEY ARN'T REAL VICODIN PEOPLE!!!! They are four bucks worth of fimo.......not 200 worth of REAL Vicodin...But I guess thanks for thinking they look good enough to be real....

WOW is all I have to say.  Excellent job, I especially like the IV bag Cheesy

If it lives in the water or flies in the air, I'm in love with it. In New Zealand I saw a flying fish and almost wet myself.

I'm so glad your appendix troubles are finally over! And what a creative crown. I'm impressed! Making the IV bag out of bubble wrap was ingenious!

I have a gorgeous granddaughter Smiley

This is AWESOME!  A fantastic idea.  You're so increadibly creative.

One question, though...  How legal is it to use Vicoden in a craft project? Tongue

Jamais sans mes ciseaux.

I didn't think the Vicoden were real. They look like polymer to me. I hope they are, anyway.

Love the tiara, it's nothing short of genius. Fabulous idea and great execution. Very well done, it looks like it should go in an art exhibit.

Hah! My goodness.....if those Vicodin were real I think that the second someone came to my house they would all be plucked off. They are made of Fimo and they are a pain in the behind to make! I have about a billion left over.....maybe I'll sell them downtown for cheap.

Harry Potter will be in my heart forever.
