Those straps were all that Lelah needed to be perfect.  I've loved other people's versions, but there's no way I'd wear a strapless top, so I've put it on the back burner.  With straps, though, it's exactly the sort of thing I'd love to wear.  Great job!

(Please excuse my facial expressions)

Pattern: Lelah, by Christine Buhagiar
Yarn: Lion Brand Cotton Ease in Lake
Needles: US 6 (for the bodice and straps) and 8 (for the lace)
Mods: Smaller needles, straps, and single-crochet (to stabilize the top) instead of elastic.

WOW, that is SO pretty! I love your version! Is that pattern available for free somewhere?  If so, could you please provide the link?

When you scroll down to see the picture you're just like, "WOW!".  The color is great, the workmanship looks great, and it fits your body really well.  Wow!  Great job - you are going to look super cute when wearing this (especially if you rock that headband with it!)

The original pattern is here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=26874.0.

If you do a search for Lelah, you'll find a lot of versions of this top.  There is also a knit along.
