I'm going to wait until I've got them all before I connect them, and also before I knit my own square.

Pretty sqaures Disneyfan!

i too want to wait to knit/crochet my own until i receive all of them, so i can feel the blanket and go with its flow.. i am not sure about the connecting part though.. my color is purple so i guess the best color is black to go with it..

Same here.  I'm running behind as it is, so I can't stop now to knit my square.  I'm going to wait until I receive everyone's squares - then either I'll put them together, or if there's a round 2 of this swap, maybe I'll pick up some more squares and make a larger blanket.

My first two squares will be going out this weekend... only a week late  Roll Eyes

Wooohooo---the second set has been sent!!!  Actually, other than my own square, I only have part of one left.  I have had a lot of downtime with my son's baseball games/practices this summer.  Plus, squares are easy and not too hot to work with even when it's been 100 degrees.  Smiley

I took up running so that I could eat more, not because it feels good.  haha

I am so happy to have week 2 done! Up until the last minute I've been finishing these squares. Everyone else is making 12" squares, right?
Square five will be cast on tonight. I'm very much enjoying the pictures of everyone's squares. Happy Crafting!

I have a confession, I only have one square left to make.  My grandmother was in the emergency room yesterday so there was lots of crochet time.

Apologies to whoever were upset by my absent.  I was in and out of the hospital from December 2007 until June 2008.

ohh I wish I was that far ahead!

I'm just barely keeping up as it is.. lol

I seem to get the squares started early enough.. and then finish them at the last minute to be able to send on time...

Ad my 12" patterns that I'm finding aren't coming out to 12"... at all.. I have to keep adding extra rounds and I don't know if its me or the pattern that's being silly.. XD

These 12" lil' wool lovies take anywhere from 8 to so on hours for me to complete. It's also completely possible I just take an enormous about of time fiddling. Completely possible.
Damn. I'm lucky to have one half done for this week where do I get off...

I'm finding I have to add rows on the outside of mine too so that they are 12". I don't mind too much though. But I just have to be more committed to doing them during the week. I always get one done on the weekend, but the second one never happens by Friday...

Wow... A lot have already been received... Here's one I just got from pogmothoin. She even sent me the pattern! It's so cute!

The whole square. The pattern is called Sugar Twists.

A close up. I keep thinking that the little white specks are tiny bunnies. And there are even little cables! Wow.

Thanks for an awesome square! I'm so excited now for more!
