Cool! Yeah I love it. I need to hang it like you have it though. I keep mine in the closet cause I don't have hooks from the ceiling at the moment, but its hard to get to sometimes cause the holes are in different places!

I was lucky when I got it. I actually got it from Joann's on clearance last summer for like $2. I think it was like 75% off or something ridiculous....now I wish that I had gotten more than one because it works perfect to store yarn!!

Those hanging things sure are handy! My little brother's got one with his toys in, right next to his bunk bed so he can reach them all.

Okay, here is a link to the 6 pics of my stash.  I counted them last night & I have roughly 500+ skeins.  This pics on this link don't count a 30 gallon tub of the yarn I have recycled from sweaters.

I counted them because I read the thread for the yarnaholics & was quite embarrassed by how much I have.

Sherry71, I'd love to look at your stash (does that sound wrong?) but I cant access the pictures. Is your flickr set to "friends only" or something equivalent?

I just sold about 15 skeins of yarn I wasnt going to use. Dont anybody worry though- I've still got approximately 5 large cardboard boxes left mostly full. I would take a picture, but there's nowhere in my apartment to put it all in one place.  Grin

I wanted yarn-store-style cubbies for my fiber stash, and we finally put them together last night, and organized it all this morning! I'm so in love!

Wide shot:

I have cubbies for yarn and fiber stacks:

Shelves for tools:

I stack my prettier spinning tools on top for decoration:

I bought this basket to hold fiber as I spin from it, but it fits perfectly in the cubbies too... sort of a spinning WIP box:

I have some drawers too... this one holds my knitting WIPs:

Thanks for looking! I got the shelving units at Target. They were $40 each, and it's made of three different units side by side.
