Welcome to The Laughing Lark Craft Supply Shop. CLOSED. See you in August! Smiley

Dragonflies are on sale, 2 sets for 1 point, for the rest of July!

Clickable pictures!

One point! Six beaded cross pendants. They do not have a jump ring or bail on them, but if you want to string them directly onto a bead necklace, just turn the top loop, and they are ready for stringing.

One point! A bunch of wood beads, a few shells, and a few fancy acrylic beads. The lighter wood beads are unvarnished, and you might be able to paint them any colour you like with acrylic paints. I jst haven't tried it.
Everything in this bag:

One point! "Guardian angels of random craft supplies!" The angel charms are czech glass, most of the loose beads are czech, and there are also a few satiny acrylic beads. Oh--and a ring sizer! If you make rings and want to put them in your STS shop, for instance, you can let people know what size they are. I get these from Fire Mountain, and I don't need this one. They are handy, though.  SmileySold to Sewnknitter! Thanks!

One point! Bunches of blossoms! These are made with acrylic beads, so they are all fairly light. There are a few matched sets you could turn into earrings. Sold to baby-bumbleees! Thank you!

One point!
A little of this, a little of that! I like to experiment with beads and wire a lot. Here are a few of my experiments and random goodies, ready to be used in your crafts. All you see here:[/s] Sold to Kayrun. Thanks!

Dragonflies! 2 sets for 1 point! These dragonflies have a loop at the top, and another, smaller loop at the bottom. Lots of crafty possibilities! I have used them for jewelry, sewn them to wallhangings, put them on small hooks and hung them from my plants. I'd love to see what you make with my dragonflies! Smiley

Pink and purple dragonflies (1) Sold to Gatsbygirl!

I'm open!
New items added 9/21/07

1/2 point:
Set of ten "muscle men" drink charms.  Clear plastic.  Lots of crafty possibilities!

1/2 point each:

Flannel receiving blankets.  Washed, but not used.  I bought them for a project, and then did the project a different way.  Yellow plaid, green with branches, tan with polka dots, and zoo animals.

1/2 point:
Cigar box.  I sold one, but I found another.

1/2 point:
Roll of floral Velcro.  One side is green and slightly nubby.  The other side is flannel-y (like the backing on a vinyl tablecloth).  Roll around itself to stick itself together, or use two separate pieces.  Works either way.  It's really light duty, and doesn't work well for say, purse closures--but it's useful stuff and it doesn't catch or snag on anything.

1 point:

Bubbly fun-fur.  21"x45", I think, with a little bit of extra hanging off it.  Shades of orange on a sheer black backing.  Don't be fooled by the photo; it doesn't look this pink.  It's really, really bright.

1 point:
Unopened package of Ranbow Rock Dazzle Dye in red.  Fiber-reactive Procion-type dye (for those of you who have any idea what that means).  According to the packaging, it will dye 1/2 lb. of fabric to red, or it can be diluted to pink and dye up to 2 lbs. of fabric.

2 points:

A bunch of fabric scraps.  Look at all this good stuff!  Sizes vary.  There's some wool suiting fabric (a solid and a pinstripe), and some really pretty, drapey stuff.  And some cotton.  Not big pieces, mostly, but a fun collection.  Most are big enough to do good things with them.  I just have too much for my uses.

3 points:

Big piece of home decorating-type fabric (all cotton, I believe).  I'm pretty sure it's vintage 1970s.  The patriotic-colonial thing was all over the place for the 1976 Bicentennial.  I love this fabric, but I'm not sure that I'm the one to put it to good use.  Big piece--don't know how big, because I haven't untaped and unfolded it myself--but it's big, and it'll take a lot of stamps to mail it!

Closed for vacation

Let it be known that:
I have two furry cats
I do not smoke

And now for the fun part:

SECTION A: 3 for 1 pt

Pre-cut sewing patterns:

McCall 5007 cut at a size 10 bust (princess seam lined jackets)
Simplicity 5597, cut at a size larger than the actual pattern (view B only IIRC)
Vogue 2814, twist top/dress, top only cut at a size 10 bust.

Simplicity 4356 cut at a size 18? (jacket C only cut IIRC) sherpa jackets
Butterick 3573 cut at a size 10 bust (fleece jackets)

SECTION B: 2 for 1 pt Mix and Match any

Uncut sewing patterns:

Vogue storage ottomans to cover recycling bins
McCall 9407 Baby layette - traced but not cut all sizes

McCall 6784 Palmer/Pletsch Creative Cardigan size 10
Kwiksew 2584 jackets with woven front/back and knit sleeves, all sizes
Vogue 2006 Lauren Sara dress, tunic, pants size 14-18

Random items, still 2 for 1 pt

clockwise from top left:
assorted yarn in baggie
scented cinnamon sticks
"CrystaWrap" plastic film, "seal with the touch of hot iron, soft for easy cutting and shaping, create jewelry, novelty, bow ties". No instructions, Slightly less than 2 yds because I tried to figure out how to use it briefly and unsuccessfully.
assorted sytrofoam balls and eggs in baggie
fabric swatches, mostly linen/rayon
baggie of fimo - unopened silver and peach, opened blue, black gold
most of a deck of Albano-Waite tarot cards.

Washington DC stickers, unopened OR slightly used box of paper flowers with those little metal thingies (brads? that can't be what they are called). I only used I think one of the flowers out of the package. (1/2 point for either)

floral print foe (1/4" when folded, 3 yds) 1/2 pt

pale purple fuzzy back foe (1/4" when folded, 8 ft), 1/2 pt

SECTION C, 1 pt per item

Set of three unopened packs of gold studs, various sizes OR
baggie of mixed pony beads and similar for melting (or whatever)
beads have been claimed

Vintage Burda WOF magazines. I have many many more. Not for beginning sewists. Most magazines in German, most instructions in French (few exceptions). I have most of the issues from the early 80s, ask if there is one you are looking for. Here is a sample. These suckers are heavy and expensive to ship, hence the raise in price to 1 pt each (have to send parcel post even for a single issue).

And a closeup of the inside and instructions and pattern sheet:

Burda moden 9/1984: big chunky knit sweaters, shirtdress, kids rainwear?, kites to sew; german with french instructions
Burda moden 11/1983: eveningwear, plaids for kids, crosstitch, german/french
Burda moden 1/1983: more 80s sweaters, random 80s clothes, german/french
Burda moden 4/1979: kids bathrobes, lingerie, resortwear? german/french
Burda moden 3/1976: mid 70s dresses, jackets for summer, barbie clothes, german magazine/ARABIC instructions! only for the truly adventurous (or arabic readers)
100 idees: 1988, this is a french magazine with clothes, needlework, knitting. actually, the knit stuff looks kinda cool. But it is in french entirely.

Trims: 1 pt for each type.
Heavier gold trim, 4 yds
lighter black fringe trim, 5.5 yds

SECTION D, 2 pts each

border print fabric, black with print, wool? rayon? not sure. 2 yds, 54" wide. My aunt bought this in paris 25 years ago.

Items sold by me:
