does anyone want my treadle machine??

I bought one a year or two ago at a thrift store, and have never touched it. obviously, its old. i checked the serial number at one point in time and it was made around either 1890 or 1910, i dont remember which. the table part is not in great condition, it definitely needs some refinishing. and the drawer for the table is in pretty poor condition. i was told the machine still works, it just needs a new belt. i can't give the poor thing the love it needs right now, and i am oh so out of storage space. i'm willing to give it to anyone in the area who is willing to pick it up. i live in stratford. like i said, it needs some tlc, but it would be nice to see it restored. if anyone wants to give it a shot, i won't be upset if it doesn't work out and they have to junk it. i just feel bad about throwing something so pretty and old out without asking here first.

any takers?

I live in Stratford! I've actually been looking for one and have seen a couple at tag sales here and there but they always want too much money for the condition the machines are in. I have no idea if I'd be able to restore it or not but if you haven't found a home for it yet I'd like to give it a shot.  Smiley
