That's right!
I wasn't sure whether to put this in bags or knitwear. . . I guess you can't really wear this and the focus of it is more in it ability to hold stuff, soooo. . . .
I decided to make a tampon case for my purse, as no amount of luck can keep those damned paper wrappers from getting damaged. . . yet another reason to switch to a diva/moon cup!!  Wink
Anyways, I used some free Shetland Chunky that I had laying around, and size 4.5 mm needles. I knit it in the round and seamed the bottom.
I traced a really cool drawing of the Creature's head:
and made it into a shrinky dink! I coloured the plastic with sharpies, though I am regretting colouring it at all (only slightly!), as it would have worked well with the yarn showing through, and the sharpies came out dark. . . Sad bleh
Buttoned the back and voila!
It holds a fair number of tampons - I wanted to make it big enough that I would still have a few even if I forgot to refill it.

And so, without further ado. . . .
The Creature From The Black Lagoon Knitted Tampon Case
(complete with a black lagoon!)

Comments very welcome!
Thanks for looking Smiley
