I have my fabric and pattern selected and pre-washed (the fabric, not the pattern. That'd be a gloppy mess)! And tonight will be "fun with interfacing" I believe. Whee!

For this bag, I'll be attempting 2 things I've never done before, so I'm a bit nervous...

OOH!  I love adventurous!  Be sure to let me know which were the "new things"

I received today from Cumber1137, and its beautiful!!!  And extremely early, seeing as I have just found the fabric and started the cutting!
It's the perfect size to tote around costumes (I design for a local theater group).  Pictures will be posted tomorrow since today is rather hectic.

Yay, I'm glad you liked it. When I found the brown fabric I was inspired. It had a total vintage feel to it.

How's everyone coming along with their bags?  I know that one person has sent out.  I have 2 possible fabric choices but am having a hard time deciding on which one to go with. Smiley  I'll make up my mind this weekend!

I popped into the fabric store on my way to get a wedding present. I cruised around desperately trying to find something that would meet my partner's preferences. I had a couple of "funky" floral fabrics, but I wasn't sure about the colors. Then, as I was standing at the cutting counter, I took a glance at the bolts that needed to be put away. And there it was...the perfect fabric...

I bought what they had, and I hope it is enough! It should be enough for the outside, at least!

Sewing this weekend, I hope!

andreamarie, are you waiting till both partners receive to give feedback? No rush on mine, I'm really just curious.

In previous swaps I've organized, I usually wait until both partners receive before I give feedback.  I can give you your feedback now if you need me to since you fulfilled your swap obligations.
