Speechless I am!  Your workmanship looks amazing.  I love the dress and my birthday is March 5th, if you get tired of it or feel inspired to make another...hint hint!  Otherwise I just might have to pull out my dusty needles end hit the motivation train.

Completely rainbow obsessed SAHM to 3 & hoping to add #4 to our family this fall!

Have old jeans, pillowcases, or t-shirts? I'll take them! I'm also always looking for the sleeves to women's long sleeved shirts!

<3 I heart Rupert Grint! <3

Wow! Thanks for all the nice comments!!!  Cheesy

As for how I made it.... I was checking out the light & lively CAL and one  of the tanks was long-ish and made me think that something similar in a dress would be neat... so basically I crocheted the cups the same as described in that pattern, but made them big so that I could do a cross-over in the front for more coverage. I just slip-stitched them together and made a chain long enough to fit my ribs, made a few rounds of SC, DC & TC (random order) and then started with the shells.... i just kinda made it up as i went along  Smiley
It was really easy! I started in last Saturday and finished it Friday night. I carpool with a friend to work (1hr each way) and it was her turn to drive so that's when I got most of it done.

Very stunning! Isn't it great that Simply Soft is low in price, but it works up so beautifully!?

agreed!! it's so easy to take care of... I wore this to a wine festival yesterday and of course spilled some wine on myself, and it wiped right off  Smiley

So you measured your rib cage and did a random order of SC/DC/TC around for it to work out? And you did the triangles separately and slip stitched them together...is that right? I really wanna try this, I love it and Simply Soft is so cheap and good colors, as you mentioned. I just am not good at "winging it" and want to be sure I have as many instructions as possible. THANKS!

I can write up a pattern if you want, it seems like a few people would be interested in that. I've never done it before, but this was fairly simple so I'll have a go at it!  Smiley

So pretty! I love sundresses, I just wish I had the patience to make something like that for myself. Great job, it looks awesome on you!
