I just got the Cute Book, and I'm addicted.  I cranked out 3 cute little guys
before I could blink.  My favorite so far is the monkey...

Edited a few days later:
It was only a matter of time before I made the monkey a much bigger
brother!  I enlarged the Cute Book pattern 205% and used dark brown
corduroy from an old skirt.  It was MUCH easier to sew the larger monkey
(which is actually still pretty small)... Smiley

As soon as my niece comes to visit we'll make all the rest of them together! Smiley

I love the monkey but he looks so sad! Maybe it's because he only has 2 friends Sad

I'm still new to this board (a whopping two days now! WOO HOO!) and I'm not familiar with "The Cute Book".  Is that the actual title of the book or is it a reference to another?  Help please.   Huh  I've made teddy bears and other critters for years now, but they're always very complex.  I love the simplicity of these little guys, and they're absolutley adorable!  Nice work, can't wait to see the rest of the gang!

It's a book. Recently everytime you load up a page on craftster there seems to be an ad for  it. The book is called "The Cute Book." It totally lives up to the name too! It has patterns for the characters created by Aranzi Aronzo. Here is the Amazon link http://www.amazon.com/Cute-Book-Aranzi-Aronzo/dp/1932234683.

He he, actually, he's not, because he's so freakin' tiny! Smiley  He's only about 2 1/2 inches tall - it's hard to tell from the pics, though.  The larger monkey I added today though, is huggable! Smiley

Thanks so much everybody for your comments, and thanks squirrelgirl, for explaining what the Cute Book is! Smiley
