Holy crap... I just realized from this post that there are a number of word misspellings on the pants. So when I find the pants (I just moved to Illinois so they are in a box somewhere) I will have to discreetly changed them.. DOH!  Undecided
done with sharpies
most of the stuff is quotes from and images inspired by the movie and book Speak. Some quotes are from Nietzsche, Eleanor Roosevelt, song lyrics, and myself... so... yeah.

The plain white jeans were $9 at walmart

Speak is my favorite book! I also liked the movie because it stayed true to the plot of the book. Anyway, they look fantastic.

These are terrific. There is a woman who makes wearable art journal clothing posted at this site http://www.voo-doo-cafe.com/cgi-bin/itsmy/go.exe?page=4&domain=1&webdir=voodoocafe
which might interest you.
When I taught High School English I used to encourage students to write their poems on clothing. You'd get an A Grin
