okay yes i'm another one who doesn't know what to do with Father's day right around the corner.
I don't know when i'll be able to visit my dad so it will be a late gift.. giving memore time... and maybe i'll even send it by mail.

anywho .. Most of my crafty skillness is with polymer clay.
my dad is a landscaper and besides watching football .. bowling is his hobby.
I thought of sculpting a mallard duck since i know he has some that he'scollected .but i decided not to because i don't know if they still interest him and i know how it is to get gifts related to a favorite to something that hasn't been your favorite for years lol.

 Soo what can i make?
 bowling pin and ball keychain?
 bowling scene standing eyeglasses holder?
football watching scene eyeglass holder?

I'd make a picture holder but i don't have any tangible pictures to put in it ..most my pics are on the computer . oo i do have one of him walking me down the 'isle' at my wedding that i can use.

 anywho.. any fresh new ideas?

MY IDEAS: Make him some manly, bowling ball jewelry. If ever possible, get him a bowling ball and customize it for him. Make him a bowling ball shaped pencil/pen holder since landscapers need all those pencils for sketching. Wink One more idea I have is to buy a football helmet from a sports store (again, if possible) and paint it like a bowling ball.

Well, I hope I could help and hope your dad has a Happy Father's Day!

I think what my dad does is mostly heavy duty work  and telling others what to do hehe, but maybe he could use a pen and pncil holder for at home by thephone.. and maybe i could take it a step further and make it a pad of paper holder too... my step-mom would probably be the oneusing it most the time but atleast he'd have something manly amongst all her girly things . he doesn't wear jewelry much except his wedding ring and a gold DAD ring my mom  got him from us kids many years ago.
wish i could afford a bowling ball to decorate for him

I think i will definatly make a eyeglass holder  and possibly the pen holder.
I just found out that the Rag shop ( craft store) is closing down it's stores and everything is on sale!! so i'm going to one tomorrow.. perhaps i'll get new ideas while i'm there.
