I bought a bag of Noro's Hana Silk ribbon because ...

a) it is beautiful
b) it was 50% off
c) i have low impulse control

I have no idea what to do with it.  I'm not a big fan of the Noro patterns (don't fit my body and I think they are sorta blah/old ladyish).  I have about 1000 yards in sea green.  Any ideas out there?  What have you made from this yarn (or with any ribbon yarn)?  I understand it's not the worst problem to have, and I could simply put it in the stash and wait for the right project to come along.... but... did I mention the low impulse control??

Perhaps a purse or bag?

Would this yarn work for a clapotis?  I would like to show off the yarn's beauty.

I think it would make a great clapotis. Try swatching and dropping a stitch and see how you like it, though. Smiley
