So here is the shirt I recon'ed out of two old shirts and some extra fabric for new sleeves (please excuse cheesy look from model - I am not good at getting my picture taken)

The basic shirt part is an old black tee shirt from target.  The patterned yoke part is also a shirt from target.  Both of these were just not working for me anymore so I married them into my new favorite top!  I also wasn't digging the cap sleeves on the tee so I made new ones by tracing out the old sleeve and gathering the bottom into a cuff.  Then I made the keyhole by the neck and closed it off with the red button.  I was looking to make something for a recent interview I had and the manager complimented my on it!  I had never attempted such a project so I happy it turned out all well as it did even if it isn't perfect.  Now I am going to raid my closet and arrange some more marriages between shirts!

I hear ya -- I'm not one for getting my pix taken either.  I'd rather be behind the camera.  (cute rabbit tattoo!  Reminds me of my late little Ms. Prince) Smiley

Thank you guys!

Awe, I bet Ms. Prince was one heck-of-a cute bunny.  I love bunnies but alas, I cannot get one (apartment rules) so I got one to carry with me for all time instead!
