I would like to make this scarf but I have no idea how I would find a pattern or one similar.  I looked online but I just can't find one.  Does anyone have a similar looking pattern I can use?

Hm.  Maybe this Ribs and Ruffles Scarf, but make it wider?

I can't really tell from the picture what the stitch pattern is, but what immediately came to mind was a pattern from the Stitch 'n Bitch books. I forget exactly what it's called, but it is pretty much a ribbed scarf (k2, p2) with a 2 stitch wide cable incorporated into the ribs.  If you own the books, you'll be able to find it very quickly and I think it might work well.
