I was wondering if anyone has tried this?  I have a complicated dragon image i want to make into a stamp so I can emboss it with gold.  Custom stamps are about $25 and up, so the kit wouldn't be much more money.

I haven't tried it. Looks interesting.

However, there are free tutes out there on how to make you own stamps.

the ones I've found are all for simple designs.  this one is pretty detailed and i don't think I can carve it out of fun foam or an eraser.

do you have a link to something else?

I've been disappointed by some of those clear polymer stamps.  They get sticky and mushy for some reason.

There are good instructions out there for carving, but sometimes it takes a while to get to the point when you can carve fine details.

But I'm a sucker for trying to carve hard things... if you want me to take a look at the image, feel free to PM me.

I just heard back from these people and they will use my image for a lot less money than that kit, so I think I'll go that route.

Glad you found a place to get your stamp.  I keep wanting to get some of my carvings done into rubber but have yet to do it.
