OOOohhhh!!  I like, I like!

I only post on the clothing boards so I like the fact that I don't have to automatically scroll half-way down the first page to get to the clothing board.

The color theme is awesome - it's actually along the lines of my ideas for my nursery!

It's all fixed, and Leah knows.  Smiley

I suspect this is what she's talking about...
It looks to me like it shows only the boards we've subscribed to, instead of all with the subtopics shrunk.  If that makes sense.

Menu on the left:

I think it could actually be better there, especially for a new person.  I never even noticed those buttons before until after a few months of being on Craftster.  Also, we read left to right, so I think it is more noticable for those who want/need to use them.

Google ads:

For the last couple of months I have had ads after the first post of a thread (or is it the top post of each page in a thread).  I would prefer those ads at the bottom myself, but I have already learned to ignore them.

As for the other ads, yeah, they are the same ones that have always been there.  Since I am not a Friend of Craftster yet (money is especially tight right now, though I know it doesn't cost that much) I can't really complain about the ads.  Some web sites do it that if you contribute a certain amount to the site, you don't have to look at the ads.  Maybe that could be a future possibility.

edit:  I almost forgot to say, I love it when I went to the knitting board there were pictures at the top for hot and new items at the top just for knitting.  That is very cool.

Mark everything read? Where did that go, for the entire forum? Can't find it.

I must admit I found the old way easier to browse, and the new layout seems to load slower for me, might be me though...
It's in the green area above where it was before.
Thank you, although I didn't mean that one (=each individual forum). But for ALL forums. There was one, way at the bottom (where the lastest post thing is) but now it's gone???

Oh, my, it looks fantastic!  I couldn't read everyone's comments cuz I'm in too much of a hurry to go exploring (not to mention post pictures of my Little Visitor, who got home while the site was down).  I just wanted to thank all those involved for all their hard work.  Lovely, lovely, lovely. Of course I expected nothing less!

Is there any way to add the "recent replies," "hot topics," "posts with pics," etc buttons to the "simple machines" blue layout?
