This was my project for spanish class. They are sugar skulls for day of the dead.

I love them!!  I was just in Baja California and I am so in love with all of the Day of theDead art and mexican folk art in general.

they are made of real sugar and a plastic mold i bought from www.mexicansugarskull.com and you can find instructions and the recipe here  http://www.mexicansugarskull.com/mexicansugarskull/recipe.htm

Aaaaaaaawesome!!  I love Dia De Los Muertos, I'm partly Hispanic and my family celebrated...I miss it!  You really did an AWESOME job on them.  The colours, the designs...love it.
It makes me want to go to Mexico this year so I can get my skullie made for me.  Again, fan-freakin-tastic!!

That is awesome.  At my school they used to have fiestas in the Spanish class.  I would have totally made these!

We made these in my spanish class when I was in 8th grade! People were eating them..I don't like just plain sugar so after a while mine just went in the garbage. LOL.
