Hello Craftee Babies,

Breast cancer is really scary. My mother was fortunate to be diagnosed at an early stage of breast cancer and thankfully had no complications. My aunt wasn't so lucky, unfortunately she lost one of her precious breasts. I can not imagine the pain she went through, but we are grateful we still have her in our lives.

It is very very important to test yourself and educate yourself on the facts of breast cancer. Did you know that breast cancer can happen to men too?

Anyways, October is breast cancer awareness month and I wanted to do a video that can help show your support. Beading can be pretty difficult, but it's nothing compared to the pain of the Pink Warriors. Give them a heart by showing your heart.

May you be happy,

First off I'm glad your mother and aunt survived the cancer and I'm sorry your aunt had to go through that. This heart is beautiful and I think it's great for any kind of thing that needs an awareness ribbon. I plan on making a blue one for child abuse.

Thank you guys. They made a full recovery. I know breast cancer can be stressful to the family. We just have to keep fighting. ^_^

A very wonderful project. My Mother recently lost a breast, too. And her lymph nodes. Fortunately my last mamogram came back good. I am still learning how to self-diagnose with the "shower test", but I think I am getting better at it. People (and yes, not only women) should be more aware of any changes in their bodies.

I love when I see the color pink on the athletes these days. Even men are stepping in to support this cause.
Now I am encouraging my men friends to have their prostate checked. So many of them are afraid of things. The test really isn't that bad. A bit uncomfortable for a few moments. They act like it would take DAYS! Big babies. Just kidding. I have managed to get through to many of them, and they said it was easier than they thought.

Cancer is terrible, but finding out early can mean a difference between life and death. I salute you for representing things here. It is important to remind people and get the word out about these things. Wonderful post. Thank you!
