My kid graduated last night and this is the dress I made her.  It was my second dress ever, the first being a practice run of this dress in broad cloth.

It's beautiful!  And I LOVE the trim with her hair -- so cute.  I have this pattern or one very similar to it, and now I'll have to try it.

I would never have picked out that pattern from the picture on the packet but your daughter looks fabulous. I love the colour of the trim it look really rich with the patterned fabric.
