i made a floorlength skirt out of a pair of jeans about a year and a half ago, but it didn't turn out the way i wanted it, so i just put it away.  a few months later i modified it with lots of t-shirts.  the denim's still all underneath, so it's pretty heavy, but good for winter.

oh i hadn't thought of that when i posted.  i must have used more than one pair of jeans.  my family members always give me their old jeans, so i have a very large supply of denim.
