OK, I got these shoes from walmart like forever ago, and have never really cared to wear them. When i got them they were a super bright green, until one day i got bored and put checkers all over them as seen in the pictures.
Well a while ago (easter really) while everyone in my family was talking about things i could care less about i decided I'd change them up abit. so after a few coats of paint and a little drying time i ended up with these, and i love them, i can't wait to buy another pair just to paint.    This may be my first post, but i would love to know what you guys truthfully think of them and maybe when i get time I'll get some pictures up from all the other stuff I've been doing lately........Thanks Amanda

Hope you guys all like them, they were suppa easy

These are really cute! They remind me of the 80's because of the bright blue and polka dots motif. Not sure which I like more, the before or after, lol! I have shoe envy Wink

How cute! I adore those blue-polka dotted ones~

However, in the picture I see you used acrylic paints. Did you use any sealer after having had used them? :O
You don't want your paint job to run!

Also, while there aren't as many colors as acrylics, 3-D fabric paints work wonders on canvas shoes. Be sure to experiment with that too! It allows for texture to be thrown into the mix!

Anywho, have the shoes been holding up well against water and such? If so, then you wouldn't really need a sealer.~

Sora: I've... I've been having these weird thoughts lately. Like...Is any of this real... Or not?

actully i was worried that the paint might run, but i gave it a chances and didnt put anything on them and i've worn them a couple times(there not all that comfy) but they held up just fine, no running at all
