I made the basic black earwarmer pattern from SnBN, minus the flowers and leaves and such. I left it black for the longest time, but then I recovered a patch I'd bought from Walmart months ago and thought, "Wow, this would look awesome on my headband."
And so, I stitched it on and wore it proudly. I loooooove it so much. And nobody eveer believes I made it. Even though, if you look closely, I made quite a few mistakes, particularly with the ribbing at the beginning with the increases, as well as one fuck-up in the ribbing a few rows before the patch.

That's all right, though.

While I was knitting it, people kept asking me what I was knitting. I sooo wanted to tell them I was knitting a tampon, because oh lordy, that's definitely what it looked like. But I'm too antisocial to make a joke like that; people would take me seriously.
Wow, I'm a loser.

Anyway, knit with RHSS in black on, I think, #9 needles. I wasn't super careful about checking because gauge isn't a big deal for this project.

I actually used the pattern for the neckwarmer from SnBN with a few minor changes, like making the ties longer and the body longer. As well as not stitching on the flowers, lol.
