No deadline. It's a small doll's blanket, and beginners can join too (I'm a beginner and this is my first CAL)! It uses sc (single crochet), dc (double crochet), sl st (slip stitch, ch (chain), cr st (cross stitch).

Easy!

If you need help or advice, don't be afraid to ask for it!

MATERIALS:

Hook: Size H

Yarn: 3 ply Sport Weight Yarn

Stitches used: ch, sc, dc, cr st

Cross Stitch: Sk next st, dc in next st; working over dc just made, dc in skipped st.

Difficulty: EASY

ROW 1: Ch 69, sc in 2nd ch from hk and in each ch across. Ch 3, turn.

ROW 2: * Sk next st, dc in next st, dc in st just skipped [ cross stitch made ].
Rep from * across. Dc in last st. Ch 1, turn.

ROW 3: Sc in each st, ch 3, turn.

ROWS 4-47: Repeat Rows 2 and 3 alternatively.

BORDER: 6 dc in corner, sc in same sp.
(dc, ch 2, dc) around post of dc on each cross stitch row.
Sc in end of each sc row.
7 dc in corner.
Working across foundation chain...
Sc in next st, * sk next st, (dc, ch 2, dc) in next st, sk next st, sc in next st. Rep from * across.
7 dc in corner.
Working up the other side.
(dc, ch 2, dc) around post of dc on each cross stitch row.
Sc in end of each sc row.
7 dc in corner.
Working across Row 47...
Sc in next st, * sk next st, (dc, ch 2, dc) in next st, sk next st, sc in next st. Rep from * across.
Join with sl st to top of 1st dc (beg ch 3) made.

Finish Off.
