pregnancy brain + zippers didn't seem like the greatest of ideas

truer words have never been spoken, haha
it's funny what pregnancy does to not only your body but your mind as well...

I made it based off of a pattern (a Simplicity one I think). I say based because I cut out the pieces for the change pad, then,in true pregnancy brain fashion - lost the rest of the pattern!

That's pretty much it - but I'll look and see if I can find the pattern number for you (and verify if it was simplicity or not - lol!)

Prego brain is the worst. I went all the way to the bank to make a deposit and then realized I had left the check at home. NICE!

And let me know about the pattern, it sounds pretty easy to do.

Off to sew cloth diapers now...

Oh the prego brain stories I'm sure we all have (like when I accidentally ruined a maternity shirt with bleach 2 days after I got it - ugh)! I tell ya - it's a good thing that pregnancy yields the results it does!

So, I looked up the pattern again, and, it turns out that it's McCalls M5339 Smiley

Like something I've made? I'm always up for personal swaps - just send me a PM!

Thanks for everything!!

I received today from Madmatigan79.  She sent a lot of great stuff.  My son LOVES cars right now, so she went with that theme.

She sent a mechanic style jacket (with my son's name on the front and his garage on the back), 2 tshirts (one with a car, the other the garage), a towel with car appliques, a knit washclothe, frog soap, growing duck, magnetic mechanic shop playboard, mix cd (car themed), and a little towtruck car (he made me open it as soon as he pulled it out of the box).

whole lot

action shot (the boy never wears pants)

oh!  there was also a knit bag for me (it's pink and awesome and will be so perfect for our "honeymoon trip" to the keys and pool trips to the inlaws this summer)

Well, I guess that means this swap is officially done.

I would love to do another round, but maybe not until Octoberish... (I have a LONG list of crafting I want to do for myself, since all the crafting I have been doing lately has been for swaps and gifts)

Yay! I'm so glad the package has been received and that you guys liked everything (Elora is still LOVING her dress and the crayon roll has a permanent home in my purse - it is the perfect distraction for when we go out anywhere)! Sorry that the jacket is so big (the smallest the pattern came was size 3/4), but at least that leaves plenty of room for him to grow (and who wants to wear a corduroy jacket in the middle of the summer, anyway?) Wink If anyone wants to see more pictures of the stuff I sent Zelda, you can check out my Flickr

This was a great swap so thanks again to everyone for being so fantastic!! I might organize another round in the fall (unless somebody else wants to run another round sooner...in which case, go for it!) - hope to see some (or all) of you back then! Smiley

Finally, if everyone could please just double check and make sure that I updated your swap feedback to "positive" - if it is still listed as "in progress", pm me and I'll fix it right up!

Happy crafting!

Changing diapers is like falling off a bike, you NEVER forget how.  Smiley

I'll see if I can get some more pictures of it up so you can see what it's like.  The changing pad is separate, and velcros in place.
Whew, finally got some more pictures:
Both pieces (corner turned up to show the fabric from the other side)

Inside view of the clutch, with size 5 diapers (Brought to you by Luvs Grin)  to show where the pockets are (They snap shut):

And a shot of the outside with the pretty chain handle and pocket:
