A friend and I talked about starting KAL for the Lace Nightie from Interweave Knits.
Would anyone else would like to join us? She even made this cute button.

I am planning to use 4ply cashmere from PlumKnits instead of the bamboo yarn called for in the pattern.

I would like to swap my knits (or amigurumi stuffies) for your handmade journal...pm me!

I've been eyeing this for a while. I got some yarn at the thrift store recently that'd be great for this. I'm in!

I love this pattern.  I started it, but messed up and had to rip it out.  I want to start again, though.  I was using Tilli Tomas silk that I had bought awhile back.  I have a lot of other stuff I am working on, but I might slip this in.

I've actually been working on this already, so I'll happily join! I've already messed up the lace pattern, but I'm far into enough that I don't really want to rip it out. I'm using five skeins of Knitpicks Shine Sport that I've had in my stash for about a year (maybe that's why I don't feel compelled to frog it and start over, since I'm using this pattern to bust my stash).

I'm definitely in on this.  I'll be using Jaeger Trinity.  It's a different gauge yarn and calls for a size 6 needle, but I plan on making a smaller size, so hopefully it should work out.

I am at the end of my first skein and thought I would post a progress shot. I am using 4 ply cashmere and size 5 (US) needles to get gauge.  I swear I have knit this until my hands ache, the cashmere is just so wonderful to knit with- like knitting with fluffy clouds of softness.  I cast on three days ago and I am already up to the waist decreases. The lace repeat is also pretty easy to memorize after a few rounds of knitting.

So how is everyone else coming along?

I've been eyeing this for a long time now, but with exams and x other projects, I don't think now is the time. Sad

AWynkoop - yours looks lovely! It looks great in the cashmere. Wink Are you going to use it as a nightie, or as a top?

You people need to stop tempting me!  I am definitely going to have to knit this.  I just bought some bamboo yarn that would be perfect!
