Ah! Finally finished these! I leeerve them, which is probably mostly my feelings for the yarn talking (Colinette Jitterbug in the Jay colorway.) Had to do the heel my own way to make them smaller, but other than that they're pretty much straight from the pattern:

Also, here is numero uno of my first self-designed socks. The pattern for the leg is a modified version of the Big Bamboo stitch pattern from Vogue Stitchtionary Vol. I, hence the name--The Big Bamboo Socks!

Check the blog for action/detail shots, if you're interested.  Wink Thanks for looking!

Hey you know I'm flattered, really I am, it's just that you're not my type... More than a little disturbed that I might be yours.

i knit some socks with that jitterbug stuff & I actually save them for days when I feel like I deserve something nice - they are so SOOOOOOOOO soft & warm,

Both of your socks look really wonderful! Is that also colinette jitterbug on your Big Bamboo sock?

Great job!

Thanks! The Big Bamboo sock is knit with Jitterbug, in the "Bright Charcoal" colorway. I love this stuff, and you're right, it's so luxurious  Smiley
