Wow, thank you for those lovely patterns- I found the Spring one on a different thread on craftster, and finally linked back to you! My son loves all things Japanese, and I have almost finished the Spring one, but now he wants them all, with of course, the Kanji included. I will make cushions out of them for him. Anybody else have lovely Japanese patterns? Or Dragon patterns for the other son?

I started doing a little embroidery for another non-needlework (or so I thought!) project, and I'm enjoying it.

While doing a little research on stitches, I stumbled upon this thread and decided to take up embroidery more seriously JUST so I can do this project!!!! I wish I'd seen it earlier, though, since I was a Japanese minor and could have pointed out the backward-ness issue.

Beautiful work on those who posted, though!
