I have been undressing all the men at church with my eyes ever since seeing this tutorial. And then mentally running away with whatever shirt is suitable.
This dress is so cute and so simple to make! I really need to go raid my brothers' closets (my DH has only a few suitable shirts and has threatened me in no uncertain terms if I alter them in any way other than to fit him better) and make a thriftstore run to find some shirts to do this with...

I finally did it! I did a big girl version of this dress. Great tutorial, by the way, and even better dress idea! Thanks so much for my new dress!

I love this dress.  Made 2 of them for my 17mo dd.  One from her older brothers shirt and one from a womens shirt.

Thank you for a WONDERFUL tutorial. I have NEVER made clothing before... I've always stuck with the straight lines of curtains and pillows. So here is my first dress ever (made as plain as possible for a first draft), and I plan on making more! Thank you!

(I tried to post my pics but, since this is my first post, you'll have to click on the links!)

I'm a dabbler.  I know just a bit about almost everything, but expert at nothing.  Working on that though.

I love this tute!  Here is my go at it, made for my dd using my dad's shirt.  I used some of the extra shirt fabric to make the ruffle between the straps and a ruffle at the bottom hem.  Grandpa just beams whenever dd wears 'his' dress.

I did it!!!

One Calvin Klein shirt with a ruined collar...

A few Snips and a cute toddler...

my straps were really short - so I had to cut curves in the underarms, but other than that...
