you can crop with a few friends in your house for afew hours, or even go away for a whole week of scrapbooking!

Woah, a whole week of scrapbooking??  And I thought only knitters were that nuts!   Cheesy

I regularly go away with a group of ladies for cropping weekends or even weeks. Usually we only go for 3-4 days, but it's GREAT. We rent a cabin somewhere and just scrapbook til our hearts content - most of us only taking brief breaks for meals and maybe 6 hours for sleeping.  I get done 60-80 pages in one go. It's great, I love doing scrapbooking that way because I know I've got a dedicated time frame for it.

I've never gone for an extended period of time, but we do a weekly crop for about 4 hours. I don't think I've skipped one week for about two years....I love it. i would LOVE to get away for a week to do nothing but scrapbook, I just can't see having the time or money....

It's nice when your aunt has a ping pong table in her basement:)  we just take over for a few days at a time, and since she loves visitors, she cooks for us Smiley

See, that would be nice. My mother in law has a huge craft room, and we're always invited, but it's a 15 hour drive, so.....we don't go more than once a year

yuck. Sad  I have an 8 hour drive to my guy friend's house, so I feel your pain.

My aunt lives "over the river" from me (about 30 minutes), so I even manage to come back to my house each day to feed the kitty.  I might be moving in afew months though, so then I don't know what I'll do!  (other than drive my roommate crazy)

That's OK. I drive my husband crazy. He finally just built shelves and emptied out our sunroom, so I could have a mini room that my son couldn't get to. That way, I don't leave paper scraps all over our apartment!!!But he's gotten pretty used to it!I'm sure your rommate will too!

hehe!  I told SA (my possible future roommate) that I don't want a bedroom -  I want a reading/crafting room. As long as I have space for an air mattress and my laptop, i'm good.
