im TRYING to machine sew a quillow for my nephew. i cant seem to get it right....i bought what i think are the right size needles for fleece, and it goes through the two fabrics (fleece and cotton) but the needle thread comes un-threaded. the bobbin thread is fine, so im guessing my tension is wrong? but how? too tight, too loose??

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Huh

Not sure how helpful this will be- but I know that when I try to sew fleece with my sewing machine (it's from 1970), I have to use the walking foot instead of the regular foot because the material is too thick to feed through the regular foot the correct way. Do you have a choice of "feet"?

Feedback makes me happy

yes, i do have a choice of "feet" and that is quite helpfull!! i didnt even think of that...i bet removing the "darning plate" might help too since it has some teeth type things to keep the fabric in place and i think the fleece gets hung on it too...wow. thanks!!!!
