Direct from her note, "includes: Cherry lip balm, cinnamon bun soap, a bath fizzy (which didn't quite survive;p But still usable!) and little recipe book for some aromatherapy stuff (Which is so friggin' awesome! I can't wait to try the Foaming Vanilla Honey Bath, or the Honey Butter Lip Balm! I am fixated on honey for the moment;p) Also a clear heart/charm/gloss pot, 2 small tins so I can make my own lip stuff, and an empty bottle so I can make my own lotion! And the very coolest, Coconut Oil!!!!! OMG that is so freakin' cool! I love crafting supplies!

I just wanted to say that after some postal mix-ups, I did in fact get a box from my SC for February (it had been sitting at my mother's house) and apparently, I have a box for March, too (also waiting at my mom's -- I'll get it today).  My husband has gone out of town with the camera, so I'll have to post pics later, but I love what you sent, SC.  She sent a bee-yoo-tee-ful crocheted scarf in chenille yarn, and she even sent me the rest of the yarn!  Hooray!  Also a little reversible cell phone pouch that you can attach to your purse, and a really neat mosaic frame -- and inside, instead of the weird photos you get when you buy a frame, a photo of her and her new hubby -- such a cute photo, are you sure you don't need that back?  Maybe you got a bunch of copies and sent them to people?

Can't wait to see the OTHER box  Grin  Thank you, SC!

I feel so bad for everyone who does not have my Secret Craftster. Not bad enough to share, mind you, but a tinge of sorriness;)
My secret Craftster sent me 2 CDs (she has the best taste in music) & 3 superb bracelets, along with 2 necklaces!!! I am going to be sparkley & well entertained! The CDs are kind of greatest hits compilations of Guster (I went into my room to find my Guster album, only to realize that my sister has it!) & The Kinks (Sunday Afternoon is one of my favorite summer songs)!!! I am sublimely happy-- THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOOHOO!!!!  I got my package last night!!!!  I would have posted last night, but at midnight, dial up's a little frustrating.  but all that's beside the point.  It's at home right now, so I'm listing from memory, but I'll make a better list when I get home.  I received:

some awesome personalized knitting needles!!!!
a fabulous knitting kit that I can't wait to dig into!!!!
really super awesome mint green material with tiny Japanese sandels (which have a real name but I don't remember it rght at the moment) printed all over it!
And a really neat postcard!

I think that's everything!  I'll double check when I get home tonight.

Thank you so much, SC!!!!  I really appreciate it all so much!!!!  And if you don't mind me mentioning it here, Congratulations on the new job!!!!

This is quoted verbatim from the information thread, and will likely be repeated again with tomorrow's one-week reminders.  Forgive me if I'm getting annoying, but it's got to be done. Roll Eyes

"I would just like, again, to remind everyone that you must post to the gallery thread when you recieve a package.  All thouse who have been meeting this requirement faithfully, you have my thanks, and feel free to ignore my nagging.

Those who have not: the gallery thread requirement is in the rules you agreed to by signing up (section II, part e).  I'll be babbling about this again when I send out the one-week reminders tomorrow, but for the record, know that I will turn to banning if I have too.  I'm losing swappers over this, and that is not acceptable.  Post!  It only takes a few seconds, it's polite, and it makes the swap better for everyone involved."

Hopefully, by hitting the info thread, the gallery thread, and the PMs, everyone will hear it.   Smiley

hey SC you rock! How did you know I was a mermaid fan? Wow. the magnets are now on the fridge I'm wearing the necklace and can wait to play with the other charms. Did you draw them yourself? I wish I had a camera. Thank you!

As one who has been somewhat lax in posting here, let me first apologize to my SC about my tardiness.  Between the mix-ups with my address and my husband running off with the camera, it's been a bit tricky.  But let me also please ask for some understanding from everyone (I don't know who in particular has been complaining, or if it even involves me personally).  In a swap that lasts for an entire year, there are bound to be times when things come up.  For me, I've had to take up slack at work from 2 people quitting, so I don't have as much time or energy as I'd like for posting pictures lately.  On top of that, my grandmother died last week, and I've spent most of the past week traveling and so forth.

I'm not saying it's okay to not post in the gallery.  It's nice to know that items sent were received and enjoyed, and it's only fair and courteous to the person who put some effort into making and sending the package.  I agree with that.  Well, anyway...

Dear SC, I have been enjoying the packages very much.  I especially loved this month's package, which included a mouse pad and coffee cup featuring photos of my doggies!  My husband tried to steal the coffee mug.  Perhaps I'll leave it at home and we can both enjoy it.  I also love the beaded votive holders -- my favorite color.  I'm really going to try very hard to post pics ASAP (and of the earlier pkgs, too -- my sister loves the scarf), but once again my husband has got the camera (he's started taking pics for a gallery project) and on top of that, my in-laws are coming to visit tomorrow, for a week.  I may be able to sneak in some time on the computer over the weekend, though.  In any case, thank you so very much!!  Smiley

Melinda (I hope you have the Preston Ave address now...)

I don't think everyone is expecting a full photo dissertation every month. A simple pop into the thread saying, hey got the package, thanks, would suffice.

Yahoo! More goodies from my Secret Craftster! This chick is faboo! She sent me a really pretty losse knit (just how I like it) skinny spring scarf in olive green with red ends, a really cute reddish pink purse with flowers embroidered on it (a girl can never have to many bags.) and tons of Bubble Yum egg shaped gum!! The BEST thing was a carton of mini Cadbury Cream Eggs (drooool). Here is a picture of Mr. Chimpy trying to make off with my goods.

Damn sneaky rascal.  Grin
