So i bought this plain red T-shirt for about $3 and it was

A: Too Big,
B: Too Plain
C: altogether boring/ unflattering

Solution? I took in the sides, cut off the top and added a sweetheart neckline and halter strap, and transferred some classic Alice in Wonderland images onto it.

I love it now! And it gets me lots of compliments... A very easy project to do...

I've wanted to do a shirt recon for ages, and have always been a little intimidated...you make it look easy. I may have to try a similar style.

I like the black and white with the red.

Wow!  Nicely done!  I'm inspired to go hunt for my bag of recon-able shirts.  Smiley
